On Campus Recruiting

On-campus recruiting visits are arranged for employers looking to fill full-time career opportunities (which require a degree) as well as internships. Through our Panther JOBlink system, your recruitment events will be seen by students & alumni registered with the Career Services office.  For any other employment opportunities we recommend that you utilize the Panther JOBlink job listings that are accessible to our students and alumni, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. FIU’s on-campus recruitment seasons typically occurs during the following times: Fall Semester: Late September through mid November. Spring Semester: Late January through early March. Summer schedules are arranged upon request.


Setting Up Your Campus Interview Dates

To choose from the widest range of dates available, we encourage you to make arrangements for your visit(s) for the upcoming academic year during the summer. Please log into your Panther JOBlink account to submit an on-campus interview request. If you do not have a Panther JOBlink account, you can create one within a few minutes.

Scheduling Information Sessions/Presentations

Information Sessions are a great way to provide information to students about your company’s products and services, hiring needs, and the application process, or to provide instruction on a career related topic. If you would like to schedule an information session please log into your Panther JOBlink account and submit an information session request form. Scheduling Tailored to Your Needs

A typical schedule consists of 13 thirty-minute interviews that begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. If you need to arrange your schedule in a manner that is different from the standard, we will tailor a schedule for you to meet those needs. We will work to accommodate you and make your visit as successful as possible!

Types of Schedules Available

Pre-Select Schedule:
Students & alumni registered with Career Services will elect to electronically submit their resumes for your review. By default, two weeks before your visit, resumes will be forwarded to your e-mail address for your consideration or you can use your employer password to see the resumes on-line. Your selection of the candidates you’d like to interview is due to the Career Services Office AT LEAST ONE WORK WEEK BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW DATE. This allows for the candidates to check Panther JOBlink regarding their status and if applicable, to sign up for an interview time. With this type of schedule, you only see those students that you have determined are the best candidates for your positions.

Open Schedule:
In an open schedule, candidates see your position on Panther JOBlink and sign up on a “first come, first serve” basis. Panther JOBlink ensures that only those candidates that meet your requirements are able to submit a resume and immediately select an interview time.
