During Career Fair
- Take note of the employers you speak to so you can follow up later with any additional details
- Prepare to be personable; smile and have a firm handshake
- Work your way from the bottom of your company list to the top
- Ask for contact information (business cards, emails)
- Be professional and thank employers for their time after speaking with them
After Career Fair
- Create an Excel sheet of companies, positions, titles, dates applied, and follow-ups
- Follow up with employers and send thank-you emails/messages
- Add employer contacts to your LinkedIn account and follow companies
