Fly-In Seminars (Washington, D.C.)

FIU’s DC Fly-In Seminars are three-day, immersive experiences in Washington, D.C. where students learn how policy is made and explore career paths connected to their academic and professional interests. Through meetings with experts from government, academia, industry, and advocacy organizations, students engage in conversations, site visits, and activities that build their understanding of how decisions are made in the capital.

Fly-Ins are organized around themes such as international affairs, space and innovation, arts and humanities, or emerging technologies, with eligibility varying by major or program.
