FIU’s Career Ready Philosophy

At FIU, we believe career readiness is a journey—one that evolves as you progress through your academic experience. The FIU Career Ready Council, a collaborative group of faculty and career counselors led by Career and Talent Development (CTD), is dedicated to connecting students like you to the right resources at the right time.

Drawing on their expertise and industry insight, the Council has outlined four key milestones that guide your development from your first year to graduation. Each milestone is paired with actionable steps and resources designed to help you build confidence, gain experience, and prepare for success beyond FIU.
