Career Fair

The Career Fair is one of the biggest and most impactful career-related events in the region. Taking place on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus, we regularly introduce over 130 prominent employers to nearly 2,000 of our talented and ambitious students and alumni.

Career EXPO

Career EXPO at Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC) is a top recruiting and professional development networking event, successfully hosting 140+ recruiters from 60+ leading employers and 30 industry leaders, offering valuable internships/job opportunities for students and alumni.

Federal Government Statewide Conference

Each year, FIU Career and Talent Development hosts the Federal Government Statewide Conference, bringing representatives from government entities to discuss federal employment.

Statewide Job Fair

The Statewide Job Fair provides students from Florida’s state universities the opportunity to meet employers. This summer event attracts over 150 employers and 1,500 students and alumni seeking full-time career opportunities.

Internship Fair

Internship Fair is a great opportunity for FIU students to meet recruiters who are looking to fill their internship positions. Internship Fair takes place during the fall semester on the Modesto A. Maidique Campus.

Internship Week

Internship Week is an exciting opportunity for FIU students to gain valuable insights and resources for their internship journey. This week features a variety of programs and events designed to help students search for and prepare for internships.

School of Architecture Career Fair

Occurring annually every spring, the CARTA Architecture Career Fair offers an exceptional opportunity for students and alumni to connect with leading companies and explore employment and internship opportunities.

Stempel College Career Fair

Hosted every spring, the Stempel College of Public Health and Social Science Career Fair provides students and alumni with the opportunity to connect directly with employers hiring in Social Work, Public Health, Dietetic and Nutrition, and Disaster Management.

Management and Leadership Panel

The Management and Leadership Program Panel and Networking Event offers FIU students a chance to network with recruiters from top companies and gain insight on management pathways and development programs.

Professional Dining Etiquette

Learn the fine points of professional dining etiquette and gain a significant advantage over the competition. Our Professional Dining Etiquette training consists of a lunch or dinner at which participants dine while being instructed on professional dining etiquette.

Resume Fest

Resume Fest is an interactive event that helps students and alumni prepare for successful interactions with employers. Participants receive professional feedback on resumes and cover letters. Held a few days before the Career Fair, it equips attendees with tools to enhance job search efforts.

Graduate School Week

Graduate School Week is an exciting event held during the fall semester in October, at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus offering a variety of opportunities for students to explore graduate programs. Throughout the week, students can attend panels, workshops, and the highly anticipated Graduate School Fair.

Professional Development Workshops

Our Professional Development Workshops are available year-round, both in person at the Modesto A. Maidique Campus (MMC), Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC), and Engineering Center (EC), and virtually via Zoom. These workshops provide comprehensive training to support your growth in all aspects of career and professional development.
