Employer Recruiting Policies and Procedures

As a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Florida International University (FIU) adheres to the professional standards and ethical guidelines established by NACE. FIU expects students and alumni to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity when participating in university‑facilitated recruiting and engagement activities. Students are held accountable for behavior that does not align with these expectations.

FIU also expects employers engaging with our students—whether through on‑campus interviews, recruitment events, or other career-related activities—to uphold the same legal and ethical principles. We strongly encourage all employer partners to use the NACE Principles for Professional Conduct as a guiding framework to ensure fair, transparent, and ethical recruiting practices that support positive outcomes for both students and employers.

Accomodations

Should you need an ADA accommodation to participate in a University event, program, or activity or need to request materials in an accessible format, please contact FIU’s Office of Civil Rights (OCR) at 305-348-2785 or accommodations@fiu.edu. All requests for ADA accommodation or accessible materials for this event must be submitted to OCR at least seven (7) business days prior to the event or at the earliest possible opportunity.
