I’ve attended multiple career fairs, employer workshops, resume-building events, and more through FIU Career and Talent Development, and it has truly been a game changer. I gained practical knowledge about creating a standout resume, navigating job search resources, preparing for interviews, and confidently delivering an elevator pitch. What surprised me most was the boost in confidence I walked away with—something I hadn’t anticipated at the start.
The professional insights and encouragement provided throughout truly made a difference, helping me step out of my comfort zone and grow. I’m looking forward to applying these new skills at job fairs, networking events, and beyond—wherever new opportunities arise.
